With special guest talks from Fighting Fantasy author Ian Livingstone CBE, C64 programmer Tony Crowther, and The Last Ninja 2 creator Mevlut Dinc, PLAY Expo Manchester is looking to be another great event!
Running over the weekend of 8th to 9th October at Eventcity in Manchester, PLAY Expo brings together the best gaming from previous decades right up to modern day. Arcade machines all on free-play, consoles, old home computers, VR… literally a zillion things to play on! (Ok, a zillion may be pushing it…)
Also, Replay Events have just announced that Jon Hare & Ben Daglish will be there too! Fans of retro gaming will know Jon Hare from Sociable Soccer, seen at PLAY Blackpool last year, and Ben Daglish is famous (or infamous!) for his musical prowess on all manner of 80s computers. He is probably most well known for composing the music on The Last Ninja with Anthony Lees, but has a huge back catalogue that any 80s gaming fan will be impressed with.
As ever 80sNostalgia will be there, usually in the arcade on Outrun, so if you see us do stop us for a chat! All the details during the weekend will be on our Twitter feed – https://twitter.com/80sNostalgia
