We all remember this one, don’t we, if only for the fact of the drawings that bounce all over the place, not to mention the theme music that everyone at one stage or another, whether they be drunk or sober has yelled along to at the top of their voices trying to emulate the instruments.
Roobard is a simple minded brown dog (although some say he’s green. I suppose it depends upon your TV) who lives in a small but cosy house somewhere in suberbia. Next door lives Custard, a rather naughty-minded fat, pink cat, who is always ready to laugh and make fun of Roobard if at all possible.
I don’t really know how to sum it all up really. Basically, stuff happens (that you do your best to try and find a logical reason to), while Custard sits grinning on his fence, and Roobard eventually ends up in his shed. That’s about it really. If you’ve never seen it before, I probably haven’t painted a very entertaining picture of this series, but I think you really have to see it to appreciate it. If someone wants to ventue a better explanation than me, then please mail me. As far as this programme is concerned, I am lost for words.
