If you’re a fan of retro gaming there simply isn’t a bigger, more comprehensive show than the re.play event at this years Play Expo at Event City in Manchester.
This year, for Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October, it will feature the most expansive and varied celebration of video games history ever seen. Re.play will have even more freeplay arcade and pinball machines, retro consoles and vintage computers as well as an increased number of features, traders and special guests.
There are four zones at the Play Expo –
Re.play – retro arcade machines, consoles, pinball tables, handhelds.
Now.play – all the current generation of games consoles with a few sneak peaks at upcoming ones too
Pro.play – tournaments and team games
Cos.play – for those who like to express themselves by dressing up as their favourite characters.
Last years Play Expo was superb. I think I spent a few hours (at least) playing the Outrun, Space Harrier, Pac Land, Kung Fu Master and Mappy arcade machines followed by a couple of hours on different pinball machines, all on free play!
If last years Play Expo is anything to go by, this years will be even awesommer!
